Carmichael Lynch Names John Green Chief Financial Officer
Creative agency Carmichael Lynch named current director of financial planning and analysis John Green to the role of Chief Financial Officer and managing partner today. John will lead the agency’s strategic finance discipline during its continued growth and will report to CEO Marcus Fischer. He will also continue on in his current role of commissioner for the agency fantasy football league and continue bringing a level of fiscal scrutiny to the league’s budget that’s rarely seen in the sport.
Prior to joining Carmichael Lynch, John worked in finance at both General Mills and the Pillsbury Company. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.
“I’m incredibly proud to be part of the leadership, work and culture at Carmichael Lynch and to help lead our successful growth as an agency,” says John. “We’re doing transformative work for our clients, including Subaru, U.S. Bank and Phillips 66 and the role of CFO at a creative agency like this one is the most fun you can have in finance.”
Out of the office, you’ll likely find him spending time with his family or on the ice in his adult men’s hockey league for seasoned players of said sport.
