In 2018, liking and swiping and scrolling have replaced going and seeing and experiencing. To relaunch the Conoco gas brand, we created a buffet of bonkers social content to remind our young, Internet-y audience that there’s actually a world out there, waiting to be explored. All you have to do is fuel up, and go.
In cahoots with Instagram wonderkid Jimmy Marble and the animation studio responsible for Bob’s Burgers, we worked with some of the world’s best artists and animators – John McLaughlin, Stanley Sunday, Julian Glander – to visualize the competing worlds of Stay and Go.
In total, we created more than 50 pieces of video content, plus a bevy of gifs, animations and other purposeful weirdness.
